Ross Sage

Ross Sage, M.D., is a board-certified gastroenterologist. He works with patients at Peak Gastroenterology Associates, which has six clinics conveniently located across Colorado, in Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, Salida, Denver, Woodland Park, and Parker.

Dr. Sage graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from the University of Iowa in Iowa City and earned his medical degree with honors from Ross University School of Medicine in Bridgetown, Barbados. He completed his internal medicine residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, in affiliation with Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City. 

Dr. Sage went on to complete two fellowships: the first in clinical hepatology at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois, and the second in gastroenterology at Beaumont Health System in Royal Oak, Michigan. Before joining the team at Peak Gastroenterology Associates, he gained experience working as an on-staff gastroenterologist and hepatologist at various hospitals in Minnesota. 

Dr. Sage is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. He’s a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has contributed writing and research to several professional publications and studies.
